Become a Lamplighter
As I was seeking daily inspiration this morning I came across the term "lamplighter", which I had not heard of before. Since I like doing random google searches, I entered the term into google and came across some interesting links and decided to share them with you in this post.
During this journey the following thought came to me.
"I can live so as to become a lamplighter. What more is there?"
- "The Old Lamplighter" allows you to make a record of your "lamplighter" experiences.
- "The Lamplighter", by Maria Susanna Cummins, was a very popular book in it's day, back in 1854

Consider these 8 reforms to Health Care
I really do not like our current health-care situation. What scares me even more is the idea that the government will take health-care over. I am sure I will like it even less then. I saw these 8 ideas proposed that could help our health-care situation. I felt they were fairly sound suggestions. What do you think of them?

I have just got to share this song
Goin Home by Kenneth Cope
Lyrics to the song
Goin Home
Kindly fires burning there
That warm my soul
Yearning for the ones I call my own
Im going home
Right at home
Steady shoulders gather there
To share the load
Im learning how to give whats needed most
Right at home
This longing to be there
Is calling me there
It stronger than words can tell
And once in homes sweetness
I taste the love of Heavn
Heavenly home
Holy faces wait for me and cheer me on
I will do all that it takes to reach their arms
Where I belong
Goin Home
This song really hit me today. It is probably just where my head is at these days. To go along with it here is an old movie "Random Harvest" you might find interesting.
More good music ..

Make Good Lemonade
There is always more than one way of looking at a legacy systems that you are living with. Many want to distance themselves from them because they are outdated and on there way out. They think that if I associate myself with that legacy system then it may rub off on me and I will be considered old and ready for the pasture.
I have a different way of looking at them. I see a legacy system as the lemon that will determine the quality of the lemonade. Or in other words, the new and improved system will be built from the data in the old system And so, I look for ways to squeeze all the good out of it I can!
Here is a bit of a cheeky video about making lemons from lemonade. So enjoy!

Let Us Raise Our Voice of Warning
I am thankful we have prophets today to warn us of the dangers ahead. I am doing all I can to heed there words.
President Henry B. Eyring encourages us in his article "Let Us Raise Our Voice of Warning" by saying.
President Henry B. Eyring encourages us in his article "Let Us Raise Our Voice of Warning" by saying.
"Because the Lord is kind, He calls servants to warn people of danger. That call to warn is made harder and more important by the fact that the warnings of most worth are about dangers that people don’t yet think are real. Think of Jonah. He fled at first from the Lord’s call to warn the people of Nineveh who were blinded to the danger by sin. He knew that wicked people through the ages have rejected prophets and sometimes killed them. Yet when Jonah went forward with faith, the Lord blessed him with safety and success."
